The app

SpeakLocal has no server and no account. Every recording is transcribed locally on your Mac, and nothing is transmitted anywhere. The app includes no login requirements, usage tracking, or telemetry.

This website

This site uses Google Analytics (gtag.js) to see how many people visit and which pages they read. IP anonymization is enabled, and Google Signals and ad personalization are disabled, so your visits are not linked to your Google account or used for ad targeting. The bug & feature request form opens a form hosted by Tally. If you submit it, the information you share (and your email, if you provide one) is stored by Tally on our behalf, solely to follow up on that report. There are no ad networks, retargeting pixels, or other third-party trackers on this site beyond those two tools.
